This project required a the main panel that was fed by two incoming mains supplies, there was a requirement for the outgoing circuits to be supplied by either of these supplies and in certain scenarios for the loads to be stepped in. We achieved this by using two PLC controllers arranged in a “duty/standby” configuration either one capable of performing all operations and of taking over from the other seamlessly in the event of a fault.  More...
